A palatal expander is an appliance that fits into the roof of your child’s mouth (palate) to improve the way your child’s upper and lower jaws and teeth fit together (his/her bite). It works quickly and remains in the mouth for about 3 months. After the expander does its job, your child’s palate will be wider. This gives the teeth more space and helps improve the bite.

We will provide you with the paperwork insurance needs from our office so you can file for your reimbursement from your insurance company or FSA/HSA plan.
